I will make better use of my time by re-prioritizing my life. By waking up earlier (before 10:00A, preferably at around 9:00A), I will be able to sleep earlier than the usual 2:00A. I'll then also have more time to run errands, study, and eat a healthy breakfast, perhaps even hit the gym (that's a long shot).
Even though I don't function well in the AM's, I think I can learn to. Right now is the perfect time to experiment with being a "morning person", and what better opportunity to become a whole new me - I know there is room for improvement.
My goals:
1.Study at least 10-20 pages per day
2.Limit my Heroes/series watching to 3 episodes per day
3.Go to the gym during downtime
The hope here is that I'll be staring at my laptop screen less, and doing more with my life.
Step to the beat of my heart - a California whirlwind ripping through the Pacific Northwest.

Charles's Birthday Weekend

Charles's birthday consumed both Friday and Saturday this weekend. On Friday we went to Suppenkuch, which I was really excited for! But the wait was unwaitable and we decided to eat across the street. I've got to go back for some German goodness! And I will definitely order beer in one of those barbaric mugs. It was also the night of the Hayes Valley Block Party and the Creme Brulee cart was out! But we didn't have time...
Saturday dinner was at Osha, quite a production. The party favors were signs of Charles's caricature face HAHA. Lots of people and photographs and fun! Afterward we went to Circa which was an older crowd than I remember, but there were enough of us younger folk to make it exciting. Drinking and dancing - great night to catch up with old friends. Later, Charles secretly vomited in Huey's car and didn't say anything until the next morning HAHAHA. What a sneaky bastard..
I'm approaching the halfway mark in my second GMAT book, so if I keep this up I'll be ready for the exam right around the end of January - a few weeks late but I must finish my prep!

Poppin' Buttons & Being Thankful
I hit the gym last night, and ran extra hard. Why? On Tuesday when I put my jeans on, the button popped off - I was befuddled. 'Twas the first time, and the last. I will end this madness!
Also, as I'm not a person who lives beyond her means, this month will be a test. Going halfsies on a 50" tv with my bro and dirt bike class has blown one of my paychecks out the window. Another paycheck will go to bills and gifts. Needless to say, there will be no BF shopping, and no excessive spending on alcohol! I love my job, but if I can't pick up full-time hours soon I'll be looking elsewhere. Perfect time to get back into shape and study hard..
And Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for my friends, family, health, and awesome life. Though I still have wants (money/fame/boys), I have no complaints! Happy T-day to you all, you fat bastards.

Law Abiding Citizen & Becoming Wiser
I saw Law Abiding Citizen earlier tonight and I thought it was a PHENOMENAL movie. I won't spoil - I'll just say it's about a man consumed by revenge and I la-la-LOVE it. When people get what they deserve and consequences are forced upon them, it makes me feel like there is hope for righteousness. I highly recommend!
I also got my snow pants today, they fit perfectly and are super cute. I'm excited! This almost makes up for my failed Poison Ivy costume.
As for making better decisions, I resumed my GMAT studies today and I've realized that it has been at least two months (maybe three) since I've smoked a cigarette. AND I have no desire to! I also started wearing my seat belt in July, and plan to keep it up forever! ;) I'm getting older AND wiser!

Gloom, Procrastination & Dread
I'm not sure if it's the weather, or the fact that I've been listening to the Metric album on repeat - but gloom is seeping out of me.
Rain reminds me of Beyonce's Sweet Dreams:
I'm mid-way through Season 3 of 24 and still intrigued as ever. Chloe's humor makes up for the stunted momentum, and I'm excited that Sherry and Nina are back - conniving women are absolutely key. On another note, I've decided I cannot further delay my GMAT studies and have resolved to resume Monday. I have a lot of material to get through, even though I pretend like I don't. Oh math, how you vex me so.
